Shaky at times, but solid overall.

XRaider and YK-Blaze easily had the strongest showings; they didn't carry the flash by themselves, but this would have been mediocre without them. A few of the artists just need some spit-and-polish, and some need a little more time to practice.

It was a little slow for a Madness-themed entry, but all in all, it was worth the watch.

YK-Blaze responds:

thanks the FPS is a bit low so it is a bit slowly sorry

Raw potential, but not much else.

Interesting concept, but you either need to lengthen the skits or put more in. As it stands, though, this entry's pretty weak.

Damn you and your cliffhangers.

But, I suppose you have to move the "plot" along somehow. Anywho, the breakdown:
Graphics: It's the same Madness it's always been, with a few new tricks. Not that that's bad.

Style: Hank does his best Kano impression, Jeebus fights again, Tricky gets powned, somebody makes an Uber-Leet, and the arrival of a mysterious malefactor who apparently dosen't like Hank very much. Or at all, seeing as he re-animated Tricky to continuously kill Hank.
That, and they actually talk. Sure surprised me.

Sound: The usual clunk, thunk, ka-shink, ka-stab, urg, gwah, rip, boom, chick-chick-bloom, thud, splat, splort, and repetitive techno music we all know and (mostly) love.

Violence: Law of hemoglobic capacity. 'Nuff said.
Oh, and one dude getting part of his race and chest ripped off.

Interactivity: N/A

Humor: Murderface, Dr. Rockso, thousands of hot dogs, a portable improbability drive, harbl, and let's not forget the 20kg "Superman" slug. Dear God, that would scare the piss out of me.

Overall: I get the feeling that you're stringing us along, Krinkels. In a very loving way, like a father waiting for his child to come back home... so he can slap some sense into 'em.
I feel a twist ending coming on for some reason, and I can't wait for the next episode. Well, I can, but I don't want to. Keep it up!

A fitting tribute!

Graphics: Very good use of the sprites in this. The only thing that I noticed wonky was during the first verse of the song, it looks like Doc's the one talking, instead of Mac.

Style: 500 foot-pounds of whoop-ass, compacted into a scrawny little 98-pound weakling. Shake well and serve. For best results, direct at opponent's face. Chill unused portion immediately.
Bonus for the extra vids.

Sound: Love the song! The quality was excellent, and you did a nice job of editing out the part after Mac's second knockdown.

Violence: No gouts of blood, and that's good. That never had a place in the game to start with.

Interactivity: Three movies and a credits button in a menu. Simple, but effective.

Humor: This pretty much comes from extra movie #1. I lawled.

Overall: It makes my old 8-bit self all squishy with happiness. You've set a high bar for yourself on later sprite flashes, but if you're this good all the time, it'll be no sweat. Best of luck!

skittlespider responds:

Wow, thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed it.

Also, thanks for formatting your review to be easily read. That helps.

That was amazing!

Oh, where to begin? This is simply a wonderful flash; it's so simple, but it's executed so well that you really don't care. Everything about this is so pleasingly minimal (in a very good way, mind you); nothing is wasted here. Outstanding job, Masterwabbit!

Very nice!

Considering the guidelines you were given, this turned out pretty good. Simple, short, and sweet, and it seems to me like your artistic skills have quite some potential. Nice work!

Oh, and the M's as birds on the roof? Nice touch.

BaconisGood4You responds:

Thanks for the review Alias-Visk!

Yeah, everyone seems to really like the birds heh. Have a good one.

I was thinking Yakkity Sax the whole time.

I don't know, but this reminded me of Benny Hill for some reason. It seemed (at least to me) like a random assortment of things that have a vaguely cohesive plot line. Not necessarily a bad thing. I didn't find much of a plot in it, but I enjoyed it anyways. Good job. 4/5

FamicomJelly responds:

YAY! I see your reasons¬¬¬¬¬!¬!¬!!!!

Holy shit.

Re-vamped art, a fitting musical score, and good voica acting?

I'm there.

So... yeah.
